t-blade Runner – Interchangeable skid and blade for the t-blade system
The t-blade Runner are high quality Interchangeable skids For the innovative t-blade blade system. They replace the traditional sharpening of ice skate blades, as they can be easily and quickly replaced when worn. This makes sharpening completely unnecessary and ensures consistently sharp edges while skating.
To change the Runner A system key is required. Both versions (metal screw or plastic screw) can be found in our online shop.
Technology & Structure
The Runner They form the key technology of the t-blade system. They consist of a thin, approximately 1 mm thick metal treadmill belt injected into a specially reinforced, cold-impact-resistant fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Due to the low metal mass, the Runner Excellent thermal properties and a highly polished sliding surface, resulting in a significantly improved sliding property of up to 40%. (according to manufacturer's specifications)

Variants & Geometries
The t-blade Runner are available in a total of 18 variants. These result from the combination of three sliding surface lengths (S - M - L) and six hollow radii (9 / 11 / 13 / 15 ). One Runner-designation such as S-9-280 stands for:
- sliding surface length (S = short footprint for maximum maneuverability)
- Hollow radius (e.g. 9 = deep radius for strong edge grip)
- System size (e.g. 280 mm – matching the runner length)
Short sliding surfaces offer greater agility, long sliding surfaces greater stability. Deep radii of the hollow surface increase edge grip, shallower radii improve sliding performance.
