1992
Another idea of ice skate blades.
In the early 1990s, Holger Würthner developed the idea of a modular skid system. Instead of a solid steel skid, a structure made of... Holder, stabilizer and replaceable Runner.
The contact surface with the ice lies on a narrow steel band and is integrated into a lightweight plastic body.

early 2000s
From product to technology platform.
After a difficult start, the company changed its strategy. t'blade no longer competes with established manufacturers by offering a complete, proprietary ice skate, but rather by focusing on the blade system itself.
In 2002, the collaboration with Graf Canada became an international step. Graf equipped the Supra 735 with t'blade, among other things. Other manufacturers and markets adopted the system.

Mid 2000s
Proven on the biggest ice.
The system is making its way into professional sports, even reaching the NHL. What began as a technical idea in southern Germany has been implemented at this level.

The connection between shoe and system.
Stabilizer
It stabilizes the system and absorbs the forces.
Runner
The replaceable part with the actual contact surface to the ice. Replaceable blades instead of resharpening.
